To help us reach our team goal of $2,000. you can make a personal donation of your own.  You can also recruit and ecourage others to give. Your dollars will go to Community Matters and its battle to end drug and alcohol addiction in Charlotte through its work with Charlotte Rescue Mission.

A contribution of just $35 covers the cost for one person to participate in the Charlotte Rescue Mission addiction recovery program for two days.  That's food, housing, counseling and medical care - for just $35!

Want to do more? A contribution of $125 covers the cost of a resident's participation in the program for one week.

And there are needs beyond program participation. 

For example, $30 provides a weekly bus pass that a resident can use while they look for a job, while $75 covers the cost for GED prep courses and job readiness services.
